(1) Plastic inner tube (2) Adhesive layer (3) Perforated aluminum strip (4) Adhesive layer (5) Plastic sheath The plastic inner tube (1) is encased by the aluminum strip (3) and bonded or welded. An adhesive layer (adhesion promoter) bonds the plastic inner tube (2) to the aluminum strip (3). A plastic sheath (5) provides the necessary protection for the tube. This is also bonded to the aluminum strip (3) by an adhesive layer (4).

PP Stabi pipes
Stabilized by an aluminum layer
Stabi composite pipes consist of an inner polypropylene (PP) tube surrounded by a perforated aluminum sheath. The outer tube, also made of polypropylene, serves as a protective sheath. A special adhesive is used to bond the plastic layer to the perforated aluminum. Templet Deutschland GmbH manufactures and supplies complete Stabi pipe production lines worldwide.
Structure of the PP stabi pipe:
Advantages of the PP stabi pipe:
- Stabilized tubes are resistant to high temperatures (110°C)
- Very long service life - at least 50 years
- Smooth inner walls reduce pressure loss and increase flow velocity.
Areas of application:
- Pipelines for pure water and mineral water
- Piping for air conditioning systems
- Natural gas pipelines for industry
- Piping for swimming pool
- Pipelines for solar energy systems
- Pipelines for agriculture
- Pipelines for chemicals of all kinds (acids, etc.)
