Description

The Omega pull-off unit serves as a belt drive in the production of composite pipes. It pulls the metal strip from the reel through the upstream system components. A dancer roller keeps the strip taut by its own weight.
The position of the dancer roller is detected via a displacement sensor and regulates the belt speed or adjusts it to the speed of a following drive.
