Strip Feeding Lines

Our strip feeding systems stand for the highest precision, maximum process stability and a continuous material supply – specially developed for thin strip materials in coil format with thicknesses from 0.02 mm to 2.0 mm.


As specialists in the handling and processing of sensitive thin strips, we develop and manufacture modular systems precisely tailored to the requirements of modern production lines. Our focus is on gentle, reliable, and highly automated feeding of the strip material – even with demanding materials and tight tolerances.


Our belt feeding systems are based on a flexible, modular system and consist – depending on requirements – of:


  • Unwinder for different coil weights and diameters
  • Laser strip welding machine for reliable joining of strip ends
  • Straightening device for optimal band flatness (if necessary)
  • Strip accumulator/storage for uninterrupted material supply
  • Omega drive station including dancer control for optimal belt tension


Thanks to the modular design, our systems can be individually adapted to material, production speed and spatial conditions with minimal effort.

    • Construction of the belt feeding systems:

    1. Double Uncoiler

    Two unwind reels supply the line with strip material. The strip change can be prepared in advance to minimize downtime.

    2. Straigthening Unit

    The straightening machine removes strip curvature and residual stresses. This ensures that the material enters the subsequent stations in a stable and reliable manner.

    3. Laser Strip Welding Machine

    The ends of the strips are welded together using a laser. This creates a reproducible, high-strength connection for continuous line operation.

    4. Strip Accumulator

    The belt storage buffers belt material between the unwinders and the process. This allows production to continue during belt changes or welding.

    5. Omega Drive Machine incl. Dancer Control

    The belt tensioner ensures constant belt tension and a consistent material flow. The dancer control compensates for tension fluctuations and stabilizes the process.
