Description

The edge strip winder, also called a chip winder, is used to wind up the metal strip offcuts from the production of composite pipes. The metal strip is cut to the required width on both sides in the upstream trimming station. This process produces continuous chips, which are wound onto a rotating drum. Our customers have the option of integrating a 2- or 3-way winder into their system.
