Thanks to a diffusion-tight barrier layer made of aluminum, the barrier pipe prevents the penetration of contaminants, thus protecting drinking water from pollution and contamination. This pipe system is particularly well-suited for installation in contaminated or potentially contaminated soils. The barrier pipe is a safe and proven solution for clean drinking water in pipelines located in polluted soils.


Structure of the barrier pipe:

  • Aluminum foil
  • Plastic jacket The plastic inner tube (1) is spirally wrapped with a thin coated aluminum foil (2). The overlapping of the aluminum foil (2) creates the diffusion barrier. A plastic jacket (3) provides the necessary protection for the tube.
