To ensure precise strip alignment throughout the forming process, Templet integrates advanced web guiding systems directly upstream of the roll forming section. A high-precision sensor continuously monitors the strip position and automatically adjusts it by means of two movable guide rollers, keeping the strip perfectly centered at all times.

This fully automatic control ensures that the aluminum strip is always positioned optimally for the subsequent laser welding process—without any operator intervention. Unlike conventional systems, our technology eliminates the need for lateral guide rollers, preventing damage to the strip edges and significantly improving product quality.

For enhanced process transparency, the strip position can be monitored remotely via an Ethernet connection from any external workstation.

Templet designs and manufactures web guiding systems for strip thicknesses of up to 1.2 mm. Our systems provide reliable, precise strip guidance and can be seamlessly integrated into both new and existing production lines.
