Scrap winders

Description

The scrap winder, also known as a edge winder, is used to wind up the scrap metal strip in the manufacture of composite pipes. The metal strip is cut to the required width on both sides in the upstream trimming station. This creates endless chips, each of which is wound up on a rotating drum. Our customers have the option of integrating a double or triple winder into the system.
